Baby memory - how long at what age?

Anyone know, approximately of course (cos I know there are going to be MN babies out there who are off the chart ) when a baby is likely to be able to remember someone they see for about two hours, once a week? Vaguely considering leaving DD2 with DD1s childminder for about that amount of time, before I want to leave her for whole days, to minimise that settling in thing we went through with DD1. Is it worth doing it before she hits the separation anxiety thing (around 7mths IIRC)? She's currently 4mths but was thinking about after Christmas, when she'll be 6mths. Been trying to remember when DD1 had that kind of recall but I don't think she had an equivalent contact to compare with.
