Just thought I'd share two things that happened today in a matter of seconds with my DS (4yrs).
Whilst looking at the child books with him in a well-known bookstore, I turn round, give him a book to look at, he takes it. I hand him another book...he's vanished. I look everywhere to find he's gone to the pay desk right out the front of the store. Fright over - relief and finding him again. All happened within a split second. Do all the parental what-to-do--in-the-future chat...blah blah.
Secondly, he arrives in the kitchen looking for a tissue to clear his nose. He can't clear it, so I discover he's stuck a Thunderbird 1 nose cone up his nose and it's jammed right up the top. I did eventually get it out
So, a couple of moments today that made my heart rate increase slightly. Wonder what your DC may have done to do similar?
