Is 11 weeks too young for teething???

My dd is 11 weeks old, shes really good and eats well and sleeps through the night, but over the past few days she has been unsettled and crying alot at about 4pm- about 6pm, shes not hungry and hasnt got wind, sometimes she doesnt sleep during the day so i think she is just overtired but i dont understand why shes like it when she has slept. She dribbles alot and sucks her fists while shes awake.
Its my first baby so im new to all this, just wondered if anyone can help?? xx

hi,my second child is just turning 9 months and i wouldnt think that that is to early for teething,all children are different.
If oyur worried ring ya health worker or pop to baby clinic.do you have family or friends you can ask?
Have a feel round her gums with ya finger are they bumpy? lay her on ya knee and have a good look inside. My little on liked to bite down on anything. But has i said earlier any worrys ring ya doc,They say we know best as mums and i think we do,there is no harm getting a appionment and gettin things checked out if your worried/put ya mind at rest x

my ds started teething at 6 weeks so not too young at all

i found nurofen worked better for teething pain dentinox was great as can be applied every 20 mins and bonjela i found calgel etc had no affect at all

also used to freeze corner of a flannel and run it along gums helped to toughen them up

Ds cut his first tooth at 12 weeks. It was a pita. Try the Dentinox stuff on her gums and see if that makes a difference.

Our DS got his first two at 12 weeks, had nine teeth at four months! Totally possible. The only thing that really helped him was this thing I got on ebay called a Razzberry - it is like an oversized rubbery soother that you keep refrigerated until use, but it is textured & shaped like a raspberry w/ leaves. DS never had a soother but chewed the leaves and handle of this little thing fiercely --- he used to get this look on his face that could only be described as grateful when he saw me bring out the Razzberry!
