My 17 month old has glue ear, and has been on low dose antibiotics for the last 3 months to keep her recurring ear infections at bay. Just been back to see the specialist who has suggested going dairy free, as its been linked with glue ear. Anyone come across this? how do i even begin going dairy free? she currently has 2 bottles of cows milk a day, would i swap these with formula or would soya milk be OK to have instead?

There is loads of advic eon here about dairy-free. Might be worth your while to do a search.

I don't think that soya milk or rice milk is recommended for the under 2s but other posters know lots.

Also, the specialist should refer you to a dietician for this and I'm surpirsed this hasn't happened.
