DS started to have lots of wee accidents, any connection to back molars?

DS (2.7) has been dry and in pants since August, but the last week has had lots of accidents. I noticed today his first back molar is coming in

(He has been dry at night since August too, and still is, gets up for a wee most nights.)

Anyone know of any connection between the 2?

I just googled and found nothing linking the two.
Is he slightly constipated? If yes, then he could be holding onto poos if it's a bit sore, which in turn causes wee accidents.
