A room divider that doesn't need to be screwed into the wall

Does anyone know of a room divider that doesn't need to be screwed into a wall? Maybe a pressure fit model? We rent our house so can't make holes in the wall but need something to stop our 7 month old twins exploring the kitchen now they're crawling. Any recommendations gratefully received.

We have a Babydan. It's like a big fence, it has 8 sides and can be made into a hexagon playpen - comes with a hexagon shaped pad to put in the bottom. You can get a tent to put over the playpen to make a play house when you no longer need it as a fence. It stands up by istelf and can be made into a variety of shapes or a long line. We got ours from ebay. Our stairs are in the lounge and are curved at the bottom so couldn't fit a stair gate and the Babydan has been perfect.

Thanks Bacty, it seems like BabyDan is one of the most popular options, I just thought that if you wanted to use it as a room divider it still needed screwing into the wall. I guess the alternative is having it as a free standing playpen though.
