Does anyone have a nearly 3 YO who won't drink milk? My DS hasn't and refusing to drink milk for about 6 months now and I worry that he should be drinking some but not sure how much. He only has milk on his cereal in the morning and that's not very much. He's quite small for his age but otherwise he's in good health, well co-ordinated has a brilliant personality, he's potty trained and quite intellectually developed for his age. Should I be worrying about the lack of milk he has?

My DD has never drunk cows milk since she self weaned from breastmilk at nearly 2. She hads hardly yoghurts or cheese either and usually has a cereal dry plus hates milky puddings. I have resorted to yoghurt icecream to get calcium into her. However, she is average height and at least average weight.

There is alot of calcium in other foods like bread and salmon.

I raised it with HV who didn't seemed concerned.

Same here. Dd1 stopped her bottle of cows milk at around 18 ish mo and will not drink milk in any format.

Not even on cereal.

She'll have mousses, some cheese and those tube yoghurts but not ones in pots.

HV didn't seem worried.
