Do all children get pronouns mixed up at first?

DD has just started using pronouns, except that she says "yours" when she means "mine". Since of course if I am talking about something that is hers, I would say "yours". Is this a normal stage in language development?

yes of course it is normal. She is copying you.

(unless she is 6 or something?)

I'm sure it is. My DS2(3) says "she's" instead of "her"

DS1 used to do it and eventually sorted it out in his mind

I think it's really cute. My DS used to say "Mummy carry you" when he wanted to be picked up! And now instead of "I" he's "my". "My's going really, really fast" etc.

She is 3.2, so late to be just starting pronouns, hence my anxiety. So it's good to know that the mix ups are normal.
