Ds1's pre-school have picked up on the fact that he dribbles a fair bit when he talks(has got worse in the last few weeks, imo). A SALT lady who was visiting for something else wants to see him to assess him properly. She thinks there might be something wrong with his adenoids and they may need to be removed.
There are no problems with his speech or language, which she praised as exceptional , but she raised concerns that this may be part of the reason that he eats next to nothing. He also snores really loudly.
What will happen at an SALT assessment? What sort of questions should I be asking them?
