My 18 month old only has 4 teeth... Any idea where the rest might be??

Hi all my 18 month old little man only has 4 teeth (2 top 2 bottom) he only got the 1st of there the wk of his 1st bday. Anyone else hav same with your babies?? Is it jus a matter of everyone developing at their own rate or could i be missing some vitamins or minerals from his diet??

They will just appear when they are ready.

dd1 had no teeth until she was 8 months but dd2 (4 months) has one one the bottom that is nearly in but it seems to have stopped half way I wish it would hurry up the poor thing isn't herself.

Teeth are developed before the baby is born its just a case of waiting for them

They're in there somewhere.... My dd got her first tooth at 13months and probably had the same number as your son at 18 months. She's just getting her first set of molars through at 2.6 years.......
