Anybody got any ideas? I thought he should have at least one by now? How long did you have to wait?

ds1 and ds2 didn;t get any til around 11 months

Poshpaws · 13/10/2009 15:50

DS1 only had the two front bottom-row ones when he was a year old.

Don't worry, they will come.

Strawbezza · 13/10/2009 15:53

Ds1 7 months, Ds2 14 months.

Thanks - this helps me put his gummy mouth into some context. I'm not particularly worried - just curious that they are taking a while to appear. I wonder if this mean that he will keep his baby teeth for longer - will they be falling out when he's 11 rather than 6?!

DD 1 at 9mt
DD2 at 10 mt
DS 1 at 1year
DD3 at 13mt

Funny you should say that, because DS1 seems to be losing his teeth a lot slower than his peers. And so is one of his friends. They were both born in August, so they are right at the end of the school year, so maybe it is to do with maturity (only in terms that we are comparing September children with August ones, IYSWIM)

Dd got her first tooth at 13 months. Then in wrong order.

Her first tooth fell out this summer at 7y4m which was a lot later than her friends.

However her dentist thinks this is good. She is older now for looking after new teeth.

Dawnybabe · 13/10/2009 16:33

Dd1 had two bottom teeth at 7mo and then no more till she was 11mo. Dd2 now 4mo is gumming and dribbling for England. There's no telling.

lynniep · 13/10/2009 16:35

DS didnt get any till he was 8 or 9 months - then about 4 erupted at once. He dribbled from about 10wks old though.

MrsJohnDeere · 13/10/2009 16:48

Both mine were 11 months old before they got any teeth.

IWantAChickAndADuck · 13/10/2009 16:50

My DS2 is 8 mo and still no sign of teeth, I was beginning to worry too!

LadyOfTheFlowers · 13/10/2009 16:52

DS3 is 10 months and has no teeth, does not crawl (but drags himself along) and has not much interest in food either.

But is perfectly fine.

Don't worry about it!

rubyredface · 13/10/2009 16:54

DS1's teeth didn't come in till he was around 1 yr, his teeth have only just started falling out and he's 7½ now.

DS2 is 10 months and still no sign of any teeth. He's been chewing and had symptoms since he was about 3 months but still no signs of any teeth!!

hellsbelles · 13/10/2009 16:54

DD is nearly 9 months and resolutely toothless as well

1980Sport · 13/10/2009 21:03

First two teeth this week - 10 months. Never thought they'd appear!

Rosebud05 · 13/10/2009 22:34

My dd's first tooth came through at 13 months. The dentist told me that anything up to 2 years is considered normal, so you've got a while to go yet! She's just got her first set of molars coming through at 2.6...
