2 and a half year son won't stop throwing!!! Advice Please!!!!!

My son has been throwing his toys, my daughters toys and pretty much anything he can get his hands on for ages now, but I can't seem to get him to stop! Anyone have any advice???

My ds went through a stage of this, but he's younger, so maybe distraction is easier then! I said "no, we don't throw, but let's put it down nicely" and then placed whatever he was holding on the floor. He then copied and I gave him lots of praise and kisses. It seemed to work after a while, or maybe he just grew out of it.

Not sure if this is too young for your DS though, but good luck.
