We went to the hospital today to see the consultant check our baby at 32 weeks - all fine.
We live in the south west, and we do not see many people of different cultural backgrounds. The Dr we saw was from nigeria.
DD aged 3 yrs 2 months, was this evening sleepily talking about the scan and the appt, about seeing her brother on tv and meeting a real Dr. She said 'he was a boy Dr. And he had brown all over him, why did he have brown all over him?' and i said 'that is the colour of his skin sweety' and she stroked her face and said 'oh. And I have pink skin, and so do you, and daddy. What about brother? what colour will his skin be? Will it be blue? It might be blue might it?'
