Is your three year old four times his/her birth weight?

Just read that they should be. My dd is (well, her projected birth weight as she was pre-term). Quite interesting - ds will be a giant if it's true.

ds3 is 2.5yrs old and is 4 times his birthweight now. 9lb 1oz at birth and 36lbs now.

my dd was 6.7lb at 35+5, so reckon she'd have been about 9lb at full term (well, no scientific proof }. she's 35lb now.

umm, no, thankfully as he was 10lb 6oz born so that would make him over 50lb. he weighs about 37lb

Don't think so. dd is 12 kg, so just under 26 1/.2 lbs and she's almost 4 ! bw 3.15kg.

ds3 is 3, was 9lb 10oz, is now 42lbs. He is v.big for his age tho.

hmm, dd was 3 kg and at 3.5 years she weighs 13kg, so not far off. She is, however very skinny, you could play a tune on her ribs, and I wish she would put on a bit of blubber!

DD is 3y 2m and she weighed about 32 pounds on her 3rd birthday. She was 6lbs 15 oz at birth (42 weeks). So, she is well over 4 times her birth weight now.

I don't have a a 3yr old but my 9.5 month old is nearly 4 times his birth weight. Is that right?

Pretty much true for DD (now 3y+8m, born 3.25 kg & now about 13.2 kg).

I'm not sure I've done my maths right but if I had dd is almost 6 times her birth weight.

ds2 is 14 months old and about 4 x his birth weight (he was 8lbs 7oz at birth and is now about 33lbs...). Ahem. I think there's no doubt he's going to be a big bu*ger..!

DD is 20 months and is 23lb atm. Was 7lb 3oz at birth.
