6yr old hitting me tried almost everything

my 6 yr old son keeps hittimg me nearlly every time i say no to him, very good at school tried behaviour charts and consequences for hitting don't know what else to try. School nurse supportive but has been going on for over 6 months any suggestions really appreciated

Thank you mrs magnolia your comments and ideas have really reassured me that what I am doing is right, and that I just have to stay calm and be patient!. Will definately have to look up the book.
