Speech impairment in 2 yo - when do I seek intervention?

DS2 (2.2) has a distinct lisp and indistinct pronounciation of some other sounds.

At what stage is help normally sought? Now or when he starts school?

It may be related to tongue tie.

you can go via GP or HV
they can then refer you for speech & hearing assessment

Self refer to Speech & Language therapy,and sooner rather than later as there will be a waiting list
