Worried about sons obbession with his willie please read

My son who has just turned 3 seems obbessed with his willie, he will go out of his way (ie take his clothes off) to play with himself he is extremly proud when he makes himself semi hard,"look mummy its getting bigger" laughing. I have been trying to ignore this but am worried he might do it when he start full time pre school next week, also i have no idea if this normal behaviour for a toddler, since he has been "playing" his foreskin has come away do I now need to wash it as an adult man would i mean do i need to pull his forskin back and wash or is it safe just to continue how i have been. He showed me that this had happened and was very pleased with himself
I nearly fell off the edge of the bath!! (not very good at putting this into words am I!)
any advise would be really really grateful i thought i would have a few more years until i had to deal with this sort of thing!

Would say it is a normal fascinating part of a little boy's anatomy.

Ds likes his too! He has been told that his willy is a private thing and should not be played with in public. He is free to play in his room as much as he likes!

Have never really worried about washing it. Must say, I leave "willy maintenence" to dh as he knows more about them than I do.

Now ds1, on the other hand, has moved one stage up, to getting a biro and drawing to turn his, and his brothers, into elephants

very normal you dont need to do anything re:washing it advice is that the foreskin doesnt need pulling back to clean but that there is no harm at all in him doing. my ds2 is 4 starts school next week and is willie obsessed.

DS1-DS2 are age 9 & 5 and I have never shown them out to wash their (intact foreskin) willies. No problems yet...
I suppose as long as the hands are generally clean, then the willies should be okay too .

I'm sure there is absolutely nothing nursery teachers haven't seen . On the same subject, I have always wondered if the popular little boy ambition to be a fireman stems from having the experience of a willie. Reason I remark is that my DS wanted to be a fireman from 2.5 (just after toilet training) until about 5, when policeman replaced fireman. Sorry to hijack.
The fascination is normal. No foreskin experience, DS got chopped for religious reasons.

My son is fascinated with his and tries to put it into strange places, like the clasp on his high chair , bath toys, and more recently he attempted to put it in his brother's ear. Three is such a charming age.

Ds2 (3.5) stuck his through a Tesco's mini chocolate doughnut the other week.

Picture this:

Dh on crowded bus with ds1 (then about 3). He (dh) had his legs crossed and bounced ds1 up and down giving him a horsy ride to keep him entertained. Stopped because his leg was tired. Cue ds1 shouting in a very loud voice during a lull in the bus hubub:

"Don't stop daddy. You're making my willy wobble and I like it". Huge for dh who. I think, got out at the next stop ...

My DC is 5yo and still obsessed with his willy. I have told him that it is not polite to play with it in front of others.

I think that boys/men tend to stay obsessed with their willies.

My ds is 3 and has just discovered what happens when he pulls his foreskin back "look mummy I have another willy under there!" He is obsessed and it certainly is his favourite past time!

Last night DS was sat fiddling with his pants - I asked him if he needed a wee, and he said 'No mummy, I'm just making my willy tall'

He sticks it through the foam letters that live in the bath too

Don't worry, they all do it. They sort of stop doing it in public about age 8 and become a bit more aware of their privacy and bodies.

No need to worry too much about fastiduous cleaning the glans behind the foreskin at this age - just encourage a thorough but normal bath/shower and a general wash in the area as it is good training for teenage tears.

My little brother used to be obsessed with his willie age 2 and 3, he used to particularly like pulling the foreskin back and shouting "ACORN OUT" at the top of his voice. However, it came back to haunt him at the age of 19 when he was watching a family video with his new girlfriend.

In the middle of a rendition of a nursery rhyme by toddler sister, baby brother suddenly appears in the doorway, yanks pants down, pulls back foreskin and shouts "ACORN OUT AND WAGGLE IT ABOUT" waving his willie at the camera.

Poor brother was absolutely , his girlfriend and rest of family were in . He has yet to live it down.

So my advice is film film film and reap the rewards in 15 years time.

I don't know about the 8 year old/privacy thing ABetaDad. I heard a story today about an 8 year old boy who lets his friend (girl) suck his willie because it feels nice

Apparently a 12 year old boy told him all about it and he found a willing participant

Please tell me this is not common.

My 6 year old son is sat infront of Mr Benn playing with his Willie as we speak.

I have just popped my head round the door to tell him that the bath is ready and he is just sat there, pants down, playing with his willie.

He calls it his 'effiel tower' which was particularly embarrassing when we visited Paris last year

anyone got any experience of modelling agencies for babies? Models Direct want me to pay £130 to register, im wondering if this is the normal thing to do? I dont need a portfolio though, i can send my own pics in.
