my DS 5 years, last night really lost his temper.

we were at a wedding reception and he was half asleep on his dads lap when my DS's godfather when past whilst trying to catch my DD 2 years.

my son totally lost it pulling and punching his godfather and then tried to bite him!!

what worrys me the most it that if he was half asleep this rage would have been totally natural and no thought would have been put into what he was doing.

he is normally a very placid boy and just tends to winge rather than get angry. oh and he generally hates his little sister too and would normally not be bothered if someone was chasing her.

oh dear the teen years could be interesting!!!

hi sparkle,

It sounds like was a one-off according to his normal behaviour. He had had a long exhausting day at a wedding, and was irritated at being woken when half asleep. It can be excused as overtiredness and you don't really have anything to worry about .
