DD, 2.8 yrs old, is grinding her teeth all the time!! It is horrid, how do I stop it?

Title says it all really. Anyone had a similar problem? Am sure its v bad for her teeth apart from being v noisy and horrid to listen to it.

ds has ground down teeth from this. He is nearly 8yrs.

Dentist says there is nothing we can do.

I don't hear him doing it except occasionally at night, so I don't think he does it very often.

Meant to say that I know adults who have had mouth guards for this.

Perhaps ask your dentist/health visitor.

Yes, I know adults who have mouth guards. Just wondered/hoped I could head it off at the pass. Got to drag everyone to HV this afternoon for injection so perhaps I'll ask them. Don't want to make too big a deal about as of course a 2 yr old tends to do the opposite of what you say..
