What to put on a behaviour diary?

I've decided to get a behaviour diary put together for ds2 (3.9) What do I need to put on there? Do I need to cover every single waking second? Or just when he's extremely bad/good? Do I need to put times? Where we were? etc etc?

hi

for a while my ds had quite bad tanrums when he was aged 4. i was told to write down what he had for breakfast, lunch and dinner, snacks etc plus the time he had them and to record behaviour in between and seperately time negative behaviour when it was present. it turned out that ds had really low blood sugar levels in the morning and giving something like honey or too sugary cereals affected his behaviour severely for the rest of the day. don't know if this is what you are looking for. hope it helps!
