15month old ds bites

All the time!!!
He bites our legs, arms, knees, feet, the table, and tries to get to the wires etc (at the moment, we have them all to high for him, but nervous when he gets a bit older).
Is there anything we can do, we've tried the ignoring him etc, but he starts to yell and gives us really dirty lucks making us feel stupidly guilty.
However, 2nd child is due in september, and we are nervous he might not grow out of it, and bite the 2nd baby.
Any advice??

continue with the ignoral. Put him down if you are holding him, with a firm NO! Walk away from him. He will outgrow it if you remain consistent. Currently going through it with the DTs. Trust me I feel your pain.

btw don't let him guilt you. They know how to push our buttons lol

lol, thx. Do they generally just outgrow it? Hes worse than a puppy!!!

Yeah they generally do, but keep an eye cos if you let it slide he'll end up biting other people and their children and then you'll never hear the end of it.

The worse thing about my two is that they start to give me a kiss and it ends in a bite! Ouch!

we did what Marslady did - every time he would bite, we would say firmly "no", and then we would put him down (if we were holding him) or walk away from him - it worked in about a week

hercules...how long was she doing it for. ds started at around 16 months and is still going strong nearly 4 months later.
