Teething pain and rashes.

Good morning everyone. My DS cut his first two teeth (together) over a week ago after 4 or so months of teething. He brightened up after they had cut and has been so content but he seems to be whinging again as he did when he was teething - I'm wondering if babies can still feel pain once the teeth have cut?

Additionally, he has a terrible teething rash - well, it looks sore, but he doesn't flinch when I touch it - so would be grateful for any recommendations on creams, or should I leave alone? I tried sudocrem but it seemed to make it worse if anything.

Many thanks

Thanks Chuckeyegg. I have some teething powder in the cupboard actually - I shall give that a try. Many thanks
