mosschops, I think you handled it right - whether your dd feels it's ok or not, you've sent the right signals to this girl (and her mum!) that this is not acceptable behaviour!

Do you think the mum said nothing/little because she was embarrassed? or was she genuinely not bothered? I would be mortified if either of my dds ever did anything like that (and they know it!)
