temper tantrum

my son has just had the mother of all tantrums etc ,banging his head back on the floor etc he has sn ,im just so worried his going to hurt himself any advice ,its ben going on since 6pm he wont to to me his daddy or his big sister

i know this will seem very harsh but its best to ignore this behaviour until he calms down , if he gets a reaction from you then he might make it a habit , its horrible to watch them isn't it , could you maybe leave the room but leave the door open , hope he calms down soon

Just completely ignore it.

If he doesn't get any sort of reaction he will be less likely to have one again.

it took an hour for him to calm down ,its just the same at bed time
