My son is almost five and in the past few weeks has started following me around the house constantly saying ' I want to be with mummy'. Have a young baby aged six months but thought he would have adjusted now. It's like being stalked!!
Any suggestions on how to stop this behaviour?

I think you need to let it run its course. Five is a funny old age- they are growing up but there is still so much they don't understand.
He is probably missing you when he is at school.
Give him extra cuddles and reassurance and try to have mummy and five yr old time.
