ds in assessment for adhd how long will it take

hi all just wondered if anyone can help? my ds has been in the process of an assessment for adhd and aspergers for 9months now at CAHMS he has had several appointments and an observation at school got an appointment without him next week just wondered if anyone knows if we are any closer to dx yet and if can give any advice what to ask?

thanks barmy mummy i have done so now. i know different CAHMS do things different but an idea would be nice
