Ok so maybe a little TMI but DD is 16mths and her dirty nappies are still very loose most of the time and don't look like normal poo shape is this normal and if so when does that happen?

thanks

My son is 2.4 and his poo is loose more often than not. I think it maybe because they get squished in the nappy (sorry TMI). I think it's pretty normal.

I put off potty training DS2 until he was nearly 3 and this was one of the reasons.

In the end, I did have to limit the amount of dried fruit & soft fruit he ate in order to just make it more manageable when he came out of nappies (obviously you've got a while yet before you need to worry about this).

Anyway, I wouldn't worry, think this is quite normal.

DD's firmed up closer to 2, around the time she was potty training, poss agree with the squished in nappy idea. Definitely better to be a bit loose than too hard imo.
