top teeth are pokingthrough, and dd4 is grinding her bottom teeth against them.

oooo it makes me feel sick.

what can i do?

Nothing. They stop it after a while, It's horrid though, isn't it. I remember ds1 did it for a while and it stillmakes my back go all funny thinking about it.

ohh.... my DD (also 8 months) just started this two days ago. Very unnerving sound!

DS did this as well. It didn't really bother me so I ignored it. Dh hated it and would say to DS to stop it really quite sharply. DS of course would only grind his teeth around Daddy!
Try not to make a big deal of as PPs have said and it will pass.
