We have just had new kitchen - marvellous - except I have opted for double oven and only just realised newly crawling DD can open it no problemmo!
How young can you teach them no? It doesn't feel that feasible to ban her from kitchen!
Any experience/tips? Ta

My ds1 is 23 months. I had to put a stairgate on the kitchen door because he keeps trying to climb in my oven!
Think you can get catches for them, like the cupboard door ones. Have a look on mothercare website.
Failing that, don't know

I know it's too late now but the one thing that went right with my new Ikea kitchen was a quadruple glazed open with a child lock on...

Other than that, mothercare do a multi-purpose lock and you'll just have to keep moving her away and saying "No" whenever she goes to touch it. She'll get bored of trying in the end...
