Oh My GOD please please tell me this is a stage and make me feel better

DD 3.8yrs, always been a handful but generally a lively happy girl. BUT, we have just come through the whinging stage, which still rears its ugly head now and again (how bloody hard was that) to be confronted with constant bloody defiance.

It is such flaming hard work (and I never thought anything would be harder than the whinging, which, lets face it is SOUL destroying!). Everything I ask she says no, or screamns or just carries on what she is doing.

I am dealing with it, but I so need to know there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Been there with daughter now 5 1/2. It will end ... but something else comes along instead!! At least it's not sex, drugs & rock and roll.. yet!!
Seriosly, just try to stick to your guns and pick your battles - easier said than done I know!!

my dd1 is 4 years old @ the end of august she has 2 weeks left of nursery will be starting school in the middle of sept.

at present she is very hard work to control.
she doesnt do as she is told just laughs at everything seems to think that everything is a joke!!

she can be nice sometimes!!

she has always been demanding wants attention constantly.
