Anyone else got a 3 year old that can't jump?

DS does this stamping and going up on tip toes from one foot to the other or sometimes tip toeing on both feet but he's never mastered a jump. He does the same things if you try to get him to jump on a trampoline, bouncy castle, bed or sofa aswell. We do lots of practising to jumping songs and really exaggerating bending our knees, stretching up and jumping up but to no avail yet.

dd2 only just got the hang of it when she was 3 and a bit I think

but gecko has been jumping for a good few months now and she is 2.3

I'm sure it will just click very soon

DS1 is 2.9 and does exactly the same as your DS. I started a thread a while back and it seems that some 4 year olds can't jump but it is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about, certainly not at 2 or 3.
