Also wondering about ADHD. He's only 4.5, so I might be being a bit precious, but symptoms are the following: he spends a lot of time in his own world sucking his thumb; his teacher complains a lot that he won't concentrate through to the end of anything that they do (ie more so than his contemporaries); he tends to be very negative and whiney a lot of the time - gets really upset really easily about silly things; he's a very restless sleeper - even when he stays in his own bed, sort of asleep all night, he tosses and turns and talks a lot; he's not brilliant with scissors and such like fine motor things (though he can write his name in wonky capitals and copy other things OK).
Does this ring any bells with anyone? I'm not really worried as he's not developmentally behind exactly, but the teacher complaining makes me a bit uneasy and I'd like to help him with his concentration and attention. But I have 2 other dcs so it's not easy.
