Dribbling - when does it stop?

Just curious really - anyone know at what age babies/toddlers usually start to dribble less?

DS is 17mo and has pretty much all his teeth so it's not teething, but he still sometimes has days where he just dribbles like a waterfall - I get quite sick of soggy t-shirts and that horrible drooly smell, so it would be nice to know it won't last too much longer!

My 2 year old dribbles like crazy, I think it varies from child to child.
