My DD1 (5) is a telly addict (all my fault, happened when severely depressed) I would like to cut down dramatically, how do I make it easier for the both of us, i have a new baby and don't need to make the 5 yr old grumpy!!!! lol

I have no real advice but was in a similar situation when i was ill ds was allowed to watch endless videos etc I had no choice As he got older and had school friends over etc it gradually fizzled out on its own as he found better things to do I think He has certainly not been affected by it and I don't think your ds will be either Does he have friends to play etc?I used to thank god for tv on certain days when i couldn't even get off the sofa and still do sometimes
