ignore the behaviour you don't want

distract like mad

and praise praise praise what you can

pick your battles - eg she wants to wear her wellies all the time? okey doke

and remember, it's a phase , repeat after me 'this too shall pass'

take care of yourself, young children can be v draining

thank you, have two others 4 and 6 am so busy disciplining them, forgotten how to discipline someone who doesn't cheek back just screams.

yesterday had to put her in her cot and walk away as i could feel myself getting extremely wound up!

Lol

I can remember this whith my DD who is 10 now, you think they are bad, you wait until she has full vocabulary to answer you back, rude!!

Have you thought about one of those 'time out pads' that you can put on the stairs and the alarm goes off when they stand up, or something like that anyway? I dont know anyone who has used one but I think I'll be giving it a go with my DS when the time comes.
