I have been umming and arrring about whether to go or not as DS is throwing alot of tantrums recently!!! I do struggle a little with confidence in public when he goes on one but I guess the more i go the more we'll get used to it!!!

Anyone else had the same worries?

Wish me luck!!!!

Well i went and DS paid no attention to what was going on he was more interested in pulling all of the DVD's out and trashing the place . Everyone there was alot older than me too and it already seems quite clicky?! Overall wasn't as bad as i thought but may try a different one?!

I like playgroups and take DS2 a couple of times a week and went alot with DS1.

From my experience the only thing other mums think about tantrums is that they are glad it is someone else's child doing it and not theres!

I also wouldn't worry about it being clicky. Alot of people who go to playgroups go regularily with people they already know and it is very easy to just talk to the same people. However, I have met some of my best 'Mum' friends at playgroups and if you go to the same one every week you will soon get talking to people and make friends. Even if you don't talk to many people the first few times, if your DS likes it just take it as a relax time and get yourself a cup of tea and a biscuit . If there are mostly older children though I would maybe try another with younger ones.

Sorry this is very long!
