My son is 3 and this is the second time he is experiencing this. It absolutely breaks my heart every time his runs and stands at the toilet.

Anyone, please shed some light on this. Any tips to make it go away quicker.

I do believe that is brought upon by stress and he just had an operation removing his adenoids...so that could have made him scared.

The last time is lasted 2 months and had to go back to diapers. It will break his heart if he has to wear diapers again...it will just crush him.

My 4 yr old DS is going through the same thing. Checked at GP - no UTI - just going to wee every 5 mins.

I did a big google too, and think it may be stress-related (I am usually a full-time-mum, but currently on Jury service (5th week starting tmw!) so he's being pulled from pillar to post a bit).

In my view, little boys need to take their anxieties out somehow - some get physical, bite, hit, etc. Mine wees!

Happened before - can't remember the trigger, and can't remember when it stopped, but it did. Very annoying, but you're not alone.

Hope that helps ...
