When did you DCs give up 10.30pm feed

My DS2 is coming up to 9 months and still has a feed at around 10.30pm, although now we have to wake him up for this feed, he still drinks approx 100ml, sometimes less, sometimes more. He is a bigger baby than my DS1 at the same age, but DS1 gave up this feed, as 7 months.

Im wondering does he really need the feed, as would we all not eat/drink something if offered when woken ? We are very lucky as once he has the feed, he goes straight back to sleep and goes through until 7am or so, and I dont want that to change, should we try and bypass the last feed of the night.

Although being able to occassionally get to bed before 11.30pm would be fantastic, particularly now that Im back at work full time.

Can you let me know what your experience is ?

Thanks

I stopped that feed around 5 months just so I could go to bed earlier. DS had a feed in the night instead until 8 months. I persuaded him to give it up by gradually offering less and less at the feed until he stopped waking for it. You could either give less at the feed or dont give it at all and see if he still sleeps through.
