9mo crawls on back like caterpillar!

DD refuses to move in anyway apart from repeatedly arching her back and propelling herself like a caterpillar across the living room floor using her feet. She sits well but hates tummy time, is this normal?

DD used to do this I always sorried that she was going to hurt her head dragging it along like that. She went on to become the fastest "normal" crawler ever so much so she took ages to walk becuase she could out mannouvere all her walking buddies.

My DD, 6 months, has just started doing the same thing, very funny to watch! She also hated tummy time until this week, when suddenly she is much happier on her front and seems to have a lot more strength in her arms to properly lift her whole upper body up whilst on her front.

I have been worried about the tummy time thing for a while so am very pleased to see that she has finally mastered it! She has however been sitting and rolling for a good 2 mnths so I guess it is swings and roundabouts - they all reach milestones at different times dont they.
