my daughter is now 16 months and she has just started smacking me across the face and doesnt listen to me when i tell her off has anybody else had the same problem?

Yes!!!

DD is 18 months and seems to have stopped doing it now.

It's awful though isn't it. You spend all your time with them, looking after them etc and you feel like it's an attack on you. It really used to upset me.
