It is a bit of a problem because I feel like I can't drive anywhere very far away.

She is OK to start with if I time it right and set off when she is tired, as she then has a nap. But she will then wake up after 20 mins or so and start screaming! I either have to carry on driving and try to ignore her, which I hate doing, or stop off at the nearest service station or side road, try to calm her down, and carry on! If I ignore her, she carries on until she is very distressed and almost being sick with sobs.

I have made sure that she has dangly toys to play with, I have made sure she has her dummy, made sure sun is not in her eyes, but nothing seems to work. It is becoming a real problem as I have several friends who live c 1-2 hours away and I always dread going to see them. Also it means I can't relax when I am there as I worry about the journey home.

Any ideas anyone?
