2yo always walking into things

My dd has started refusing to go in the pram (she is 2.2) which is fair enough, I like her to get exercise and all that, but when we are wandering round shopping centres and I let go of her hand (I always hold her hand near roads, but as long as I am watching her, don't see a problem in letting her walk by herself inside) she constantly walks into things and people!

She will be looking either back at me, or at some passing person or shop, or at her drink or snack that she is carrying, and just walks smack bang into stuff! I try calling her name and reminding her to look where she's going, but then she does it again. Luckily people who she has walked into haven't minded yet, but I'm dreading the day someone objects.

She also likes to touch absolutely everything, from windows to other children, and gets things off shelves to have a closer look. She always puts them back when I ask, but I worry she will break something.

Also, she tries to push her own pram, and pushes it into things and people.

Is she too young to be out of the pram?

i personally don't believe there is such a thing as too young to be out the pram (my dd was walking around shops etc at 9 months).

will she hold your hand? or is she at the stage my dd is now at where she refuses to? i have introduced the past few months if you dont wlk next to me or hold my hand you go back into the buggy, or if i don't have the buggy with me i tell her i will carry her if she doesnt walk with me, this usually works for us.
