He's 22 months right now. I remember taking my daughters sides of quite young, as she used to climb, but as a result of this she never got out of bed??
Any thoughts?

keep them on for as long as he tolerates it and doesn't climb imo

saves you time on putting them back in their beds - mine have all been out it quite young and into a bed because we needed it for subsequent babies BUT my nephew was in his till he was 4 - it never occurred to him to try to get out bless him

I would keep them on until he asks for a bed. DS started climbing out of his cot but I kept him in their cos he climbs out quite safely and never hurts himself. Unfortunately his cot then broke so he had to go into a bed.

Oh and friend's DS is still in a cot at 4.
