Normally very perky and awake baby has been sleeping for hours today, normally has an hour nap in morning and maybe 2 hours in afternoon. Been asleep more than awake today. Also been sleeping late by a few hours each morning this week after busy weekend visiting people.

Night times are normal, woke at 1am and 6am last night for food (normal).

Has put on loads of weight over recent weeks after much feeding (still bf). Is she growing in size now rather than piling on the pounds? Does sleepiness coincide with a growth spurt?

She doesn't seem ill, no snotty nose, not hot or unhappy. It's just very unlike her, am a bit worried

very very likely to be a growth spurt, DD did the same around 5 months! Other things could be has she had any jabs - these made DD very sleepy too, also sometimes very sleepy if fighting off a bug or coming down with a cold etc!
