ds 14mths, keeps throwing his comfort toy out of cot !!

....and then crys till you go in and put it back! help, this game is carrying on too long at bedtime now, how do i deal with it??

maybe you could try securing it to the cot, tie it on with a small bit of string or ribbon ( not enough for him to get caught up in)

When you return it the first time, tell him that you won't be putting it back again if he throws it out again, and that he needs to keep it in the cot with him. Then ignore the screams. Basically it's CC. He will soon either learn to sleep without his cuddly - maybe he doesn't actually want it - or to stop playing the game. But you must make sure to tell him what you want him to do - ie keep it in the cot.
