Does anyone else's dc do this?
I have recently been eavesdropping on 2yo ds as he builds towers... he says things like 'Don't worry little brick, I'll find your daddy!' [sticks small green brick onto big green brick]

My DDs (especially DD2, 3 yo) talk to all their toys, regardless of what it is. Actually, DD2 doesn't really need anything to talk to, she'll talk to the wall if that's all that's available

oh yes DS(3yo) does this. it's so funny to listen to him. especially when he puts on different voices for different toys!

Kathyis6incheshigh · 14/04/2009 15:13

It's very cute isn't it?
I find it particularly pleasing with ds because he plays with all the 'boys' toys - trains, cars, Lego etc.
His trains are very polite to each other - whenever they bump into each other on the line they say 'Excuse me!'

How lovely!

My DS (2.11) favourite lego game is "building sites" where we each have a little man. His man is always "boss" and always greets my little man with a kiss and a cuddle! When my little man asks what jobs he'd like him to do, his little man always sends him off to buy sweets in the little dumper truck! Very cute.

That is so cute that he is talking to the little lego brick like that - what a sweetie.

FluffyBunnyGoneBad · 14/04/2009 23:07

That's so sweet!
