DS1 is 8
DD is 5.8
DS2 is 3.10

DD misbehaved this morning but has been lovely all afternoon while her friends were here.

DS1 has been so cheeky and mean that the mother stepped in (I was fine with that.) He scared her youngest (5.7) and answered me, and the other mother, back many many times.

DS2 is currently crying as I sent him up to daddy to put to bed as he had answered me back too after I had shouted at him to leave his sister alone. Clearly he is copying his older brother.

I feel really crap. I just feel so tired and just don't know how to do this anymore.

awww

Children and school holidays can be v draining

Have you read the talk to children so they will listen book - it's excellent for long term strategies in changing how you family works

Right now you sound very tired and low, can you get all the children to bed nice and early and settle down for a quiet cuddle with DH, perhaps a bath and a footrub too?

I felt like this yesterday. Had a good day today so hopefully it was just a one off. Have a glass of wine and write it off.

Oh, and I also agree about the younger copying the older one's behaviour- it's a double whammy killer.

About to have a yummy dinner. Tv to watch and DH has the next few days off work. Thank Goodness!
