My DD has started weeing herself in her clothes. Potty trained almost a year ago and now she wets herself at least once a day sometimes twice. Just now she was sitting on my knee doing dora explora laptop stuff and she wee'd all over me!!
Sometimes she gets to the loo and then wees herself anyway standing next to the toilet!
What can I do- has anyone else had this problem? I also have a 4 yr old son and 7 mth old.
thanks! Sarah

Sorry, no advice, I am just in awe of the fact she was potty trained so early in the first place. Both my DSs were over 3 !!!!

Has just occurred to me - maybe she has cystitis? Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will be along soon

Either she is so absorbed in what she is doing she "forgets", or doesn't heed the signals in time, or she has an infection.

It is very unusual to be potty trained at 18 months - most children are only getting the idea at about 2 - 2.6. Maybe you need to just remind her to go, so she doesn't leave it too late.

Wow thanks, I had not realised it was so unusual to be potty trained so early, my little boy stopped wearing nappies and she just copied him. I will get her checked out for a possible infection, thanks so much for advice!

this has happened to dd, one poss cause is a urine infection or the other is that she is coming down with something, dd has accidents before getting ill, she had a few nd then came out in chicken pox spots for example
