How do we deal with our 4 year olds baby like behaviour ??

Hi, my daughter is just over 4 years old and has verbal dyspraxia. She's getting a lot easier to understand but recently she's regressed.
She makes baby noises and says "ma-ta" "wa-wa" etc. she does it when she objects to something. She pulls funny faces while talking like a baby. I try to ignore this and say "Talk propperly please".
It's very annoying though.
She does it in public and sometimes lays on the floor in shops making these silly noises which is highly embarassing.
She is very tall for her age and people probubly think there's something severely wrong with her, or me.
She is usually as good as gold at home or when it's just me and her or the family.
Whenever we go to someones house or shopping though, she's a nightmare.
How would you suggest we deal with her behaviour?

Continue to ignore her when she does it. "When you speak like you are a big girl of 4, I will listen" and carry on.
