help just fallen asleep till 6mo's bedtime, do I get her up and then try to put to bed?

went for a little nap with dd this aft and just woke up. should I wake her up and keep her up for a bit or wake her feed her put her to sleep in her bed. am feeling completely befuddled. meep.

how long has she slept for? if i were you i'd probably wake her, keep her up til later tonight, then she won't wake you too early in the morning!! i guess it depends on the temperament of your dd though, mine would sleep for no more than 14 hours at that age (not all at once!) and so would have woken 2 hours earlier in the morning if she'd had an extra hours daytime sleep (am i making sense? )

On the other hand, my friend had a little girl who would sleep MUCH better at night the more naps she had in the day, so i'm guessing that only you can answer your own question! hope that helps.

I'd keep her awake until later, neither of mine would have gone straight back to sleep after a nap so late and when they are so small you can just watch TV etc and get on with your evening until they look tired.

bugger. just put her to bed, she was very cross at being woken and then went back to sleep on bottle as she normally would at this time. So guess I'll be up at 4am entertaining her then... gah. what a fool.
